To find out if you need to have MRSA/HRMO testing done please answer the questionnaire truthfully:
- Are you known to be a carrier of MRSA or HRMO ?
- Have you been in contact with any MRSA/HRMO positive people in the last 2 months?
- Have you been admitted to a hospital outside of the Netherlands for more than 24 hours in the last year or are you currently admitted to a hospital outside of the Netherlands?
- Have you been admitted to a hospital outside of the Netherlands for less than 24 hours in the last year to have a procedure or minor surgery done?
- Have you been admitted to a hospital outside of the Netherlands in the last year and/or do you have any of the following risk factors:
- Do you have dialysis in a hospital or clinic outside of the Netherlands?
- Do you currently have any chronic open wounds, abscesses, indwelling catheters, iv-lines or PICC lines inserted
- Have you been in contact with people who are MRSA/HRMO positive?
- Do you work in maritime shipping?
- Have you been in contact with any livestock or poultry animals in the last month?
- Are you a asylum seeker or have you ever stayed in a refugee camp?
If you have answered yes to any of these questions you will be required to undergo testing for MRSA/HMRO.
